Perth: A 6x6 Mini Album

A few years ago, the lovely Aida Haron was in KL to teach a couple of classes. I attended one of her classes on making a 6x6 mini album. Needless to say we spent a lot more chatting and eating than actual scrapping. Good times!! But we did manage to complete the cover of the mini album at least, and went home to finish the inside of the album.

Like I said, the class was years ago and the album has been quietly sitting somewhere in my scrap area being ignored as I have been rather lazy for the past year. But I decided to complete the album with photos of our trip to Perth (which was also years ago) and added a few more pages to it.

Thank you, Aida. I am proud to say that I have  finally completed the album... after many, many years :D.

Mixed Media Mini Album Class

Last weekend, I was asked to teach a mixed media mini album class by some friends and I had an absolute blast. There was a lot of inking, spritzing, painting, laughter, kidding around and basically a whole lot of fun. Here are some photos of the class and of the album that we did.

A few people have asked if I would have another class for this mini album and the answer is: YES!!!

I'll be having another class in July. The date is not confirmed as yet but it will be in KL and on a Saturday. If you are interested, please email me at: yatiedin@yahoo.co.uk by the end of June. The class will be limited to 6 persons only this time. So hurry up and email me and I will give you the details of the class.

Canvas Texture

Last weekend, I was in KL and joined in a canvas class in Scrappingville. We did a canvas project with lots of texture techniques taught by Sharon. I didn't quite complete the canvas that day and brought it home to give it some finishing touches.

But I have to say that the best part of the class was the company. I love going down to KL and spend some time with creative friends where we just work away exchanging ideas and laughter. Basically having so much fun that 4 hours just flew by just like that.

Scrappingchix 1st Anniversary Celebration - Update

Last Saturday was Scrappingchix's 1st Anniversary celebration. I was there really early just to catch up with Nad and also do some shopping :D. I was also suppose to teach a mini album class that day. We had 3 people taking the class and I hope they all had fun making the album and trying out new techniques.

The food was great and look how cute these cupcakes that Nad made... SC logo printed on the cuppies. SO cute!!!

And this is the album that I taught:

Thank you to those who took the class. And thank you, Nad for a splendid party!!

The Perfect Pearls class we had on Friday at Scrappingville was such a blast!! That was actually my first time teaching a class. Everyone did a splendid job on their projects and I am so happy that they all enjoyed themselves.

Picture time.... although by the time I thought of taking photos, a few of the ladies has already left.

And hey... look who dropped in to do a layout?

Thank you everyone for attending my class and for bringing along lots of creativity!!
