My Girl

This is for the 2nd challenge that Vivs hosted over at BSF for January. It's the one that we have to stamp the background of our paper. I've been giving this a lot of thought and today I finally got an idea of how to do it. It's like a light bulb just went on in my head and I saw how to do it and what to use. I used a lot of Prima products (yes, I heart Prima!!) Some I've got in my stash for a while but had no idea how to use it.

So here goes:

First I inked the cardstock using TH Distress ink pad (Vintage Photo). Then I stamped the whole of the background with Fancy Pants Designs wording stamp using StazOn ink in Sable. Then I stamped over the wordings with Prima floral stamp and Fancy Pants Designs flourishes, also using StazOn ink pads. Lastly I stamped and embossed the numbers and flower with black embossing powder. And there you have a selfmade patterned paper.

Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad. Heidi Swapp edge distresser. American Craft glittered chipboard alphabets. Daisy D's cardstock sticker. Jenni Bowlin journaling card. Tsukineko Watermark ink pad and black embossing powder. Lace and glittered vines from local shop.
