Oh! So Precious

I just finished this layout yesterday, having used Basic Grey new collection Wisteria. I love the soft purplish colour of the collection but had a hard time finding a picture that goes with it. Note to self: take pictures with some purple in it!!

Painted around the photo with some Crackle Paint (Peeled Paint) and painted and clear embossed the letters.

Materials used:
Patterned papers: Basic Grey Wisteria collection (Primrose, Willow and Fountain)
Element stickers: Basic Grey Wisteria
Word Stickers: EK Success. Alpha stickers: Jenni Bowlin. Chipboard alphas: Maya Road. Flowers: Prima Marketing. Journaling card: Autumn Leaves. Crackle paint, buttons, clear embossing powder, acrylic paint.

Target: 100 LOs
Done: 94 LOs
To do: 6 LOs

Hi Yatie-Your page came out great! I too struggle with purple and have been known to convert a photo to black and white. Anything to make a photo work. lol

Thanks, Mich. I only had the three papers from the collection. They were all a little on the pale side. That was why I decided to use Peeled paint to give a little contrast. but I think there are a few nice brighter papers in the collection.

Hi Marie. Yeah, you're right. B&W photos would have worked better. I should have thought of that. Thanks for the tip!!
