I just finished this layout yesterday, having used Basic Grey new collection Wisteria. I love the soft purplish colour of the collection but had a hard time finding a picture that goes with it. Note to self: take pictures with some purple in it!!
Painted around the photo with some Crackle Paint (Peeled Paint) and painted and clear embossed the letters.

Hi Yatie-Your page came out great! I too struggle with purple and have been known to convert a photo to black and white. Anything to make a photo work. lol
Thanks, Mich. I only had the three papers from the collection. They were all a little on the pale side. That was why I decided to use Peeled paint to give a little contrast. but I think there are a few nice brighter papers in the collection.
