Hey everyone!!
Here's a new layout I just finished for another Swirlydoos challenge that's being hosted by Peggy. There are a few conditions to the challenge, which are:
- based on a sketch in the gallery and turn in 90 degrees either way
- use 3 flowers
- use 2 butterflies
- use 1 large ribbon
- Layout has to be at 50% from Swirlydoos kit
So here's my take:
This time I scrapped about Nadiah's name. haven't done that before. Her name means 'giving' and 'honoured' in Arabic.
Two of the flowers are from Prima and I added one chipboard flower from ScrapFX which I ran some stickles on it. I hope that counts as the third flower.
I am loving stamping flourishes on transparency and cut them out. It's a great way of using my stamps. This time the flourishes are from Hero Arts clear acrylic stamps; of which I have not used in simply ages.
Ok, thanks for coming by and do leave some love for me.... :D
Materials used:
Patterned papers & flowers: Prima Marketing. Velvet paper: SEI. Chipboard flower: ScrapFX. Chipboard alpha: Creative Imaginations. Stamps: Hero Arts. Ink pads: Tim Holtz distress ink pads, StazOn. Others: Tim Holtz Distress stickles, glittered butterflies, organza ribbon.

Glad that you have been taking out your forgotten stamps n in using them. Nadiah is honoured to have a parent like you and you are so giving. You are a great example to her and in time - she will become what you wish her to be. Hugs.
