Looking Good

It's another week at Twisted Sketches for me. The twist of the week is WHITE and you can see the sketch here. Do join us in this challenge or just drop by the site to oohhh and ahhh over the excellent samples from the other DTs.

This is my take:

I chose to do a layout of hubby wearing a white suit. He had a thing to attend and was required to wear his white suit. I also decided to add some white here and there in the layout like the masking I did on the cardstock, the white clock face and sanded those chipboard alphas so that some white parts appeared.

For the background, I mix a little turquoise Perfect Pearl powder with Mustard Seed re-inker and a little bit of water. You can see some blue tinge to the yellow background from the Perfect Pearls although the shimmery effect didn't photograph well. But I like the end result and will surely be mixing some more PP and re-inker.

This is also my first layout made in 2010 and thus my new challenge begins: to make 100 layouts for this year and I mean strictly layouts only. Wish me luck!!!

Materials used:
Patterned paper: Sassafras Lass. Diecuts: Collage Press. White cardstock. Tim Holtz masks, distress ink pads and distress re-inker. Perfect peals. Maya Road metal clock face. Prima Say It In Crystals. Metal butterfly.

Target : 100 layouts
Done: 1 layout
To do: 99 layouts
