Top Of The World

I decided to try out the Making Memories Travle Kit that I got off ebay. But not all the items are from the kit. Only the patterned paper, word stickers, alphas for the word 'TOP' and the compass accent. All the others are from my other collection.

YOU

This layout I made was for a challange titled: A Masculine Layout, held in Lovescrap Forum. Since using flowers would not have been masculine, I decided to make a necktie out of a strand of blue checked ribbon, which matched hubby's shirt in the bottom picture.

Zoo Trip Mini Album

Last August we took Nadiah to Zoo Melaka, and had soooo much fun.

I made a mini album for Nadiah so that she can enjoy the images and relive the time spent at the zoo.

Button Tricks

Fancy buttons can be so much expensive to buy. But there's a trick that you can do to minimise the cost. All you need are some cheap plain buttons and some left over rub ons.
Just rub on images on the buttons to get a fancy looking ones. Easy peasy!!

Buttons are small so you don't even need to use a whole image from the rub ons. You can just rub part of the image, say like a swirl or a leaf or just a flower petal. That way you won't need to spend too much.

More Clear Acrylic Stamps

Just received moments ago. The second package of clear stamps. One Sassafras Lass and two Technique Tuesdays.

I LOVE, I LOVE I LOVE!!!!

Mosaic Tiles

My brother just got back from Bangkok last night, and he bought me some stuff that can be used as scrapbook embellishment.

I especially love the mosaic tiles that he got me. And there are loads of them. I'm going to have fun with those. You can check out the product at Crystaline Mosaics or Crystaline Crafts.

Storage Box

This posting is to answer laydiefa's question in the previous entry's comment.

To laydiefa, the storage box that I use is somewhat like a tackle box that people use for storing fishing supplies, but it's bigger. I sometimes hear it called a bead box as it's used to store beads, which I do too.

Some of the horizontal separators are detachable, but you can also get those that are fixed. I bought the boxes from many different stores but you can also get them from Giant or Carrefour.

Here's a closer picture of the box

Delivery For Miss Yatie

They are finally here. My mystery box that I've been waiting for.

A few weeks ago I went on eBay and bought a mystery box. I was assured that there will be a mixture of scrapbooking stuff which will be worth twice what I paid for. And they sure were. I definitely paid a lot cheaper for the stuff. And that includes shipping rates.

I received flowers, ribbons, brads, foam stamps, acrylic paints, papers, stickers, albums, kits and loads more. I can’t wait to use them.

I took pictures, of course.... and here they are:

This is everything that comes in the box

Papers, kits, stickers, rub ons, albums etc

Embeliishments: ribbons, brads, metal plagues, flowers etc

I also bid on some clear acrylic stamps and have received the first package which includes two Autumn Leaves clear stamps, a Basic Grey alphabet diecuts and a bag of Prima flowers.
