Hello everyone!!
I am so excited to share this new layout/altered project with you. I found a blank 12x12 jigsaw puzzle set in Daiso some months ago and thought.. "hmmm this would be great to alter". And so I did.. and it was fun!!
I inked each of the jigsaw pieces and stamped on the bottom. Once it's completely dried, I applied Rock Candy Crackle Paint to give that cracking texture.
Chipboard butterflies sprayed completely with Apple Candy Glimmer Mist and added blue crystals. I just love that cracking effect.
It's not very difficult to do this, trust me. t just takes a lot of patience waiting for the paint and ink to dry.
I love those quotes from 7Gypsies which I think is appropriate with the whole theme of this layout. As many of you know, Nadiah is autistic and I had chosen jigsaw puzzles because jigsaw pieces has always been the emblem for autism. It represents the missing piece that we have to find to make the kid complete because as of today, no one knows the cause of autism. There are a lot of theories but no exact cause. Plus, I love jigsaw puzzles and it's a love that has been passed down to Nadiah. Anyway, the quote "for a long time, she flew only when she thought when no one was watching" I think describes Nadiah's progress over the years. She has gone from no communication to speaking her mind and having an opinion. I am so very proud of her and I know that there is still a long way to go but I am so ready!!!
Materials used:

Ur creativity has always inspired me. When I saw this LO of Nadiah I was thinking with a smile, that how lovely ur LOs are and this one shows how fast Nadiah has grown over so many LOs u made. Reading ur entry touch my heart. I didnt know and never guess abt her. But the love is written all over the LO. Its good to know that she's progressing. May Allah bless you all.
