This month of August at Scrap-It-Lah, the challenge is a reflective layout with the title "I Now Know..". It can be a serious or a funny layout, all up to you. Please go HERE to see the gorgeous layouts that the DTs came out with.
Here is mine:
I decided on an artsy layout with lots of paint (acrylic and crackle), embossing, stamping, inking and a flower I made with Tim Holtz's Alteration die.
That metal frame was a great find from my local haberdasher store and I picked it up for a song! Love it when that happens.
The original colour of the Making Memories chipboard alphas was pink from its Noteworthy collection (old.. old ones I found buried in my stash), and I inked them with Rusty Hinge and Black Soot distress inks.
This layout is very personal and it's about how I see myself grow with the birth of my daughter and what strength she has given me these last eight years.
So do come and join us in this challenge!
Materials used:
Patterned papers: K&Co, 7Gypsies, Prima Marketing, Bo Bunny, Pink Paislee. Flowers: Prima Marketing. Chipboard alphas: Making Memories. Alpha stickers: October Afternoon. Journaling card: Pink Paislee, 7Gypsies. Chipboard element: Technique Tuesday, Dusty Attic. Transparency frame: Luxe Designs. Word tiles: 7Gypsies. Stamps: Tim Holtz Stampers' Anonymous, Stamp-It. Rub Ons: GCD Studios. Others: Stamp-It embossing powder, Tim Holtz Distress inks, Kaiserkraft acrylic paint, Tim Holtz crackle paint and Martha Stewart Royal Butterfly punch.

Good afternoon!
I actually have a client on the look out for art/design bloggers and I stumbled upon your blog on blogmalaysia.com.
Would you actually be interested to undertake an advertorial with me? Which would be a paid write-up.
Your urgent response is very much appreciated.
