The Journey Begins

It's another week at Twisted Sketches and the twist for the week is ACRYLIC. I had so much fun making this layout that I totally forgot about the acrylic part.. LOL!!! Fortunately I remembered at the last minute and slapped some acrylic paint on the title.

Please go HERE to see the sketch.

Here's the acrylic part. The letters were diecut with Tim Holtz Alteration dies (Vintage Market) - love these!!! I mixed the cobalt blue with metallic silver abn once it's dried, I inked with Vintage Photo distress ink.

Love those beautiful lace flowers from Prima.

That is a HUGE (6 inches) embellished stick pin which came with my Swirlydoos kit. Actually, the whole lot came in the June Swirlydoos kit. It's a vintage theme this month and thus the vintage photo :D

So do join us in this week's sketch and twist over at Twisted Sketches.

Materials used:
Patterned papers: Glitz Designs, GCD Studios. Velvet paper: SEI. Journalling card and music note paper: Glitz Designs. Pearl swirl: ZVA Creative. Stick pin: Craftysprinkles Etsy. Beaded ribbon: Swirlydoos. Chipboard frame: Dusty Attic. Flowers: Prima Marketing, Petaloo. Others: Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Stickles, Alpha acrylic paints.
