I found this challenge blog, Scrapping The Music some time ago and thought that it's really interesting and have always wanted to try. But I always miss the deadline. The challenge is to scrap to a song that is given, either the title or any part of the lyrics. Today, I was just browsing around online and decided to see what song is being played. It's If Today Was Your Last Day by Nickelback which is one of my favourite songs.
There is a paragraph in the lyrics that goes:
"If today was your last day
Would you make your mark by mending a broken heart?
You know it's never too late to shoot for the stars
Regardless of who you are"
I like the last line and decided to use that as my title.
That photo of Nadiah is a little dark as the sun was behind her when I took the shot.
Journaling reads:
"It does not matter who or what you are. Even if people think that you are not perfect, you are perfect for me. I love you regardless of who you are..."
And I love the rub ons from Autumn Leaves on the right side of the photo which reads: Looking is a gift but seeing is a power.
Materials used:
Patterned paper: Crate Paper. Paper strip: K&Co. Rub ons: Crate Paper, Autumn Leaves. Alphabet stickers: Basic Grey. Journaling card: Collage Press. Butterfly cutouts: Bo Bunny patterned paper. Mask: Tim Holtz collection. Color mist: Maya Road.
