What Love Is

Yesterday, ScrappinKids' DTs held challenges at the forum. I originally decided to take part in all the challenges but due to time constraint, I only managed to finish only one. It was also because my photo printer decided to run out of ink leaving me with no suitable photos to scrap.

The one challenge that I participated was hosted my Michelle and we were to scrap about the meaning of love:
"You are going to ask any one of your child/children the meaning of Love and scrap the very first answer that you get from he/she. No answer is right or wrong - its the memories that is important"

Gifts for a dear Friend

It is seldom that I get to see my closest friends and it's even seldom when one of them lives in another country. Since Wina is back for Easter holidays this month, I made a little something for her and her darling daughter, Dania.

The first is a layout of Dania which I later had it framed. And the second is a mini album of friendship of which I made three, one for each of my bestest of friends and two I have already given to the others.

Exploding Box Giveaway Result

Hello, hello everyone.

I am so very sorry for taking so long to post the result of the Exploding Box Giveaway contest. Getting connected to the internet has been a real trial lately that it's making me crazy.

Anyway, before I announce the winner, let me just take this opportunity to thank every one of you who took the time to leave a comment here in my blog. I really appreciate it and feels very honoured that you would do so. Even if you don't win this time, please do try again in future months because I have lots more to give this year.

Ok enough with the ramblings. I'm sure you're not that interested anyway and so I'll get a move on announcing the winner.

And so.... after randomly picking the one name out of the 13 who commented, the winner is......

10 Things I Love About You

Hi everyone!

I have been working on this album for 3 days now and I am glad that it's now finished. This was made for a challenge in ScrappinKids for this month which is to make a mini album about 10 things that we love about something (kids related) and to incorporate playing cards in each page.

And so, I'm finally done with it. I gave it a grungy, vintagey and shabby kinda look to the album. And it's on 10 things I love about Nadiah, of course.

So here's my take (sorry, picture overload):

Altered Tags for a Reunion Party

Hello everyone!!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was a blast because we had a mini reunion of sort with my ex-schoolmates. It was a fabulous night with great company, yummy food and rocking karaoke. It was great to see those I haven't seen in almost 20 years.

As a little token for the night, I made some altered tags for my friends. Just a little something to remember by.

There were four designs and I made about 25 altogether. Two designs had backgrounds painted with acrylic paint and the other two I used Maya Road Mists. Then all were embossed with either normal embossing powder or distress embossing powder.

Everyone was happy to get their personalized tags and I'm just glad that they love it...

These deserve 5 LO points.
